Excellent once you get the right fit
I'm a hobbyist boulderer, nothing serious, but have found these shoes brilliant for those two things everyone needs to get over: climbing confidence and getting the right fit.

First, climbing confidence. When you're starting out it seems unnatural that a simple pair of shoes could let you stand on a 2mm outcrop or a wall hold the size of a coin - but the "Stealth Onyx" performs better than the 6-8 pairs of shoes I tried before; they get you off the V1 problems within a day and let you concentrate on more interesting stuff by letting you master the basics incredibly quickly. In fact, mine have yet to fail - when I fall, it's due to hands never feet, even if you're flat-soling a wall without any foot holds. Dusting them off after 20 midsize problems, I can see no deterioration in sole shape despite lots of scuffing and scrabbling around on the walls.

Second, fit. Fit is ultra-important to boulderers and anyone serious (i.e. better than me) likes a ridiculously...

There are a lot of shoes out there and to me this is the standard slip-on that all others aspire to be.

The Anasazi is a performance rock shoe, you won't want to wear this for multiple hours and on multi-pitch climbs (unless you are swapping leads and get a chance to take them off for a breather).

They grip your feet tight and the heelcup leeches onto you heel. These are by no means the comfiest shoes I have ever owned but by God they are the best performing.

The stealth rubber is very, very grippy and, unlike some other shoes made by well-known manufacturers, they last, the edge stays for a long time.

If you are going for the send or trying to crush a boulder problem or sport route then slip these bad boys on and you will be edging and climbing your best.
