Not keen on the front strap placement
Not sure about these. The front strap placement means when tightening the strap it tends to cut across the little toe where it is most sensitive. The strap adjustment over the foot were quite effective but the lack of rear strap adjustment was an issue for me. I found a huge difference in sizes between a 7.5 and a 8.5, one barely accommodating the length of my foot but otherwise snug, the other way to roomy to be functional. They were quite clumpy and unattractive compared to a sandal and I'm not sure whether it would be much more functional with the open heel. It looks better in the photo, at least in the bigger sizes. If you're after toe protection in a sandal style and are lucky enough that the fit is good in your size then these will do the trick. The sole bed is comfortable and well designed and they seem well made. It's a shame Amazon don't carry the half sizes!

Very comfortable
I bought these for my wife as a present. I have a couple of pairs of sandals like this with the closed in toes and find they are better for walking than the open ones. My wife has tried these on a few occasions now and said that they are extremely comfortable to walk in and now she doesn't stub her toes so much. A good piece of kit with a bit more protection than a normal sandal.
