The KSO Trek is made to deliver performance outdoors. Constructed with the agile performance and protection you need outdoors and on the trail, this is a more rugged version of the popular KSO and features a kangaroo leather upper and sockliner. This use of kangaroo leather ensures the shoe is soft against the foot, while still managing to be both strong and tear resistant and highly breathable. The 4mm EVA midsole offers plating protection from stone bruising, and a lightly cleated 4mm Vibram performance rubber outsole delivers enhanced traction on trails and rugged terrain. *Upper: Kangaroo Leather *Sole: 4mm EVA Midsole and TC-1 Rubber *Footbed: Kangaroo Leather *Machine washable. The best Five Fingers
This is not a fake as suggested by the other though the item heading is weird. It is the KSO Trek and made of Kangaroo leather, not synthetic material. I have two pairs and find them easily the most comfortable Five Fingers. The indeed do not have the usual yellow logo. Good! You can check it out at Vibram.it

The leather is wonderfully soft but mine have stood up to a lot of work. The sole is now worn on my three year old pair, but they have done miles on rough ground.

I did consider taking a star off because you will end up with dye all over your feet the first time you get them wet, but decided they are worth five anyway.

Item appears to be fake
This item does not have the correct branding. Authentic Vibram KSOs always have the Vibram brand stitched in yellow thread into the shoe, not indented into the fabric. A search of Vibram's own website shows that the "synthetic" fabric option does not exist.

Also, the KSO model always has a breathable mesh panel on top of the foot that is semi-transparent. This shoe has the same fabric for the entire upper part.
