We have tried to present and spent lots of time to givethe most profitable deal for you. Whenever you have any doubts, you may find out what they say about Mammut Unisex-Adult Monolith Gtx Anthracite-Black Hiking Boot 3010-00460-0015-1300 13 UK.

Good boots
I have narrow feet with high arches, plus slightly arched toes. Mammut Monolith boots fit my feet in a way that La Sportiva and Scarpa offerings never did. Try on as many brands as you can before committing to a purchase, obviously.

The midsole unit of these boots is the semi-rigid B2 variety, whilst the uppers are more flexible than traditional 4 season leather boots. The flexibility of both uppers and sole combines to increase the effort and accuracy needed for scrambling and descending. Stiffer boots would require less tension in leg and foot muscles for the same foothold, and so would require less effort than the monoliths. I shouldn't criticise the Monoliths too harshly as they are B2. I'll keep them for technical summer stuff like crib goch

On the plus side, these boots are narrow in profile both internally and externally, and this lack of bulk makes them nimble and dexterous. Combine this with their low weight and you have boots which provide good feedback...

Good, & comfortable after a while...
My wife and I both took new pairs of these to the lakeland fells to break them in for the Alps. They seem stiffer in the sole than my previous B2 boots, but there is more 'give' in the ankle.
We both found them very hard going for our initial half-mile of road, and soon discovered during the course of 10 miles over the fells that there is a real knack to the three zone lacing; firstly - don't do the first zone up as tightly as other boots - you are just using that extra tightness to crush the inner layer, which seems to be memory foam. The first zone needs to be just tight enough to grip the foot. The midzone needs to be just tight enough to hold the foot back into the heel cup, then the top zone needs to be firm. I have discovered for me that after reaching the top hooks, it is worth going back down and tying off on the next hooks down. Since the lakes trip I have bought a thicker pair of Bridgedale Summit socks, which have more ankle padding, and have made the boots very...
