Good shoe for cycle commute
If you are looking for a cycle shoe that is passable as a black shoe to wear on a commute with 'normal' clothes this is just about as close as it gets (most shoes have more garish designs). I wore the previous model for many years with only slight problems with the velcro coming unstuck from the straps (which was fixable). This one looks like an improvement with a change of design, 3 straps instead of 2. This also makes them more comfortable in my opinion.

The clearance on the cleat is a little tight (the tread is not as deep as other shoes I've worn) and on my first few trips commuting on train/tube I did notice a little more wear on the cleat than I'd expect from a brand-new shoe.

The material on the shoe is well ventilated so you'll feel comfortable in the summer but need to wrap up warm or use overshoes in colder weather.
