Fantastic
The UK Gear PT-1000 is an absolutely outstanding piece of footwear in my humble opinion.
I compete in long distances racing typically anything from 30 to 100 miles and I attribute some of my success (in finishing) some pretty gnarly races to the PT-1000.
If you are looking for a Zero drop minimalist trainer this is NOT for you. The PT-1000 is a brute, Not heavy but solid ! I feel almost invincible when wearing them, Mud,Water, Thorn bushes it smashes through them. I ran for 23 hours non stop and never felt the need to take them off. I have run approx. 1000 miles in mine and they still feel like they have kept their shape and integrity.
If you are looking for a pair of trainers for your first marathon these may be overkill but if you run the trails and roads and want a work horse...look no further.
