I am a fan of scarpa and always will be if they keep making this kind of boot. I took my new pair out today in 4" of snow, through the woods, through a river, and some steep bank climbing etc.. I gave them a good going.

It is not often you can put on a new boot and go straight into it but these did just that. Perfect fit for me(wide-ish foot), no probs with grip, warmth, waterproofing. In fact there seemed to be a forcefield around the boot as everything else was soaked except the boot.. it looked very strange on the doorstep..

Overall, so far, superb.. Buy them.

Comfortable from the first wearing, no rough nor scratchy parts on feet even without socks!. I thought(like other boots)that I would need time to break them in, but no, they are as comfortable as good shoe. Very well made ie stitching and materials and lightweight. One may need a hook to fasten the laces up very tightly, but this is not a problem for me.
