Bought these as I liked the look of them and the sole was a grippy looking one. First day of wearing was in snow and they were fantastic in the snow. On grass I felt really stable. I suspect lots of street walking will wear soles down quick. These are very lightweight trainers. I think they look really good too. The downside so far is the adjustable strap in the rear of the shoe which tightens the heel. This may need adjusting while you walk. To get a tight fit or the shoe 'slips' a little off the heel. I noticed also the tongue of the trainer will dig into you if slightly off centre. So ensure all nice and symmetrical before you start.
But the adjustable heel is awesome for when wearing bigger thicker socks.
And for the money - I think these are a great buy. These will suit on and off road light hiking and walking very well.
