Not just for Walking
Contrary to the spec and naming of this shoe it is not just for walking. I checked with Saucony and it is in fact identical to the Progrid Jazz road shoe except for the upper which is mostly leather and therefore a little bit more rugged. I wanted a dry weather shoe for off-road running and opted for these as I got a good deal on them. I would not wear them in mud as they don't have off-road tread. But the leather upper is good for me especially when you accidentally catch your foot against something. They have been worn mostly on grassy fields but also rocky trail too. They are very light surprisingly and I really like the Saucony cushioning for those parts of the run where you need it, on the road. These are good to walk in too I am sure but if you like a shoe that encapsulates your foot more in running then these could be good for you. They fare ok in wet grass too, the leather obviously does get wet but the wet only comes in at the small wedge where your foot bends as that little...
