Not full leather lined - hard heel.
I wanted to like these - I am not convinced that Goretex is good in boots, so a leather lined leather boot sounded nice - but the leather lining is only the ankle cuff - further inside its cambrelle or the like. Which may not matter to you. But what I also did not like was that the leather heel liner than was present felt hard - although a lighter boot than the Vioz and intended to be less for serious mountain walking, I found the Vioz GT has softer leather and a springier heel.

They might well wear in nicely, but that was not a risk I was prepared to take.

I'm writing this review one year after the purchase so, I already tried the boots. The look (if you are interested) is great, the quality even better. The soft leather lining makes a great difference in comfort (my first pair of boots that I was able to wear immediately after the purchase and no harming my feet) , the boot is water tide and the sole has a very good grip.
